Guerilla Gorillas

The result of a 5-day collborative residency with Christine Haase, Grimmuseum, Berlin

Performance Duration: 30 minutes

On arrival the audience was divided into two groups depending on their preferred language, English or German. The two groups were then taken into separate rooms where there was a photograph hanging on the wall. In the first room, the image was a of group of Mountain gorillas and in the second, a team of guerrilla fighters. Each group had half an hour to recreate the photograph using themselves and the things at hand. The aim: to make a photograph as close to the original as possible.
